Again, I’m changing up the topics for the day – I’m supposed to post my outfit of the day, but seeing as I wear a uniform to work I thought I’d move that to the weekend. Instead I’m posting my ultimate Christmas playlist.

The Wiggles – Go Santa Go

It’s H’s first real Christmas this year and he loves anything Wiggles. I love this song because he bops along and it’s the cutest thing ever.

The Beach Boys – Little Saint Nick

My dad is a huge Beach Boys fan – seriously HUGE. Every year at Christmas we would put up the tree and listen to the Beach Boys Christmas album. It was really hard to decide between this one and I’ll Be Home for Christmas, but the memories of my dad singing away to this song always makes me smile.

The Darkness – Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End)

Another one that brings back memories but these ones are of living with my mates in the TARDIS house. Dave was a huge Darkness fan so when we found this song online he was super excited to play it every Christmas. It always makes me laugh picturing him and Kris playing air guitar every time it came on.

She & Him – Baby It’s Cold Outside

Again another recent favorite, I kind of have a crush on Zooey Deschanel and her adorkable quirkiness, and this song really suits her voice.

Luciano Pavarotti – Ave Maria

This song gives me chills – it’s so beautiful. That’s really all I can say about it.

No Doubt – Oi to the World

This is another great boppy song. I love the ‘A Very Special Christmas’ albums as they always give you new ways to listen to the same songs, but every now and again they throw in an original like this one.

The Pretenders – Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

I have always loved this song, but this is my favourite version. The Pretenders have been my favourite band since I picked their CD out of my dad’s collection as a kid.

Taylor Swift – Last Christmas

I have no excuses and no apologies. I like Taylor Swift.
